Veronika Smolková scored a violent finish over judo specialist and UFC veteran Stephanie Egger. The fight was a classic striker vs. grappler matchup. Egger managed to ground Smolková in the first round, threatening with an armbar, but the Slovak fighter survived and returned to her corner with a fire in her eyes. In the second, Smolková began to stuff the takedowns and punish Egger with knees in the clinch. The end came in the third when Smolková sprawled on a tired shot from Egger and unloaded a barrage of hammer fists and elbows, forcing the referee to intervene at 2:34.
