Tale of the Tape
Shrnutí výsledku
Kurtis Campbell submitted Trevor Peek with a rear naked choke at 1:53 of round three in their featherweight bout at UFC Fight Night: Hooker vs. Parnasse in Paris on September 5, 2026. Campbell imposed his grappling throughout, repeatedly taking Peek down and working from dominant top position in the early rounds. In the third round, Campbell locked in a body triangle before transitioning to the rear naked choke, forcing the tap. Campbell briefly taunted Peek after the finish, drawing criticism from the broadcast team.
Přehled zápasu
Both Trevor Peek and Kurtis Campbell arrive at UFC Paris needing to snap losing streaks and reassert themselves at featherweight. Peek makes his 145-pound debut following a lengthy leg-injury layoff while carrying back-to-back losses, while Campbell looks to rebound after being stopped by Danny Silva in London just months after his Contender Series knockout earned him a UFC contract. Two finishers with something to prove make for a compelling preliminary-card matchup.
Klíče k vítězství
Trevor Peek
- Use his veteran UFC experience and natural size as a former lightweight to control positioning and set the pace.
- Commit to grappling early to test Campbell's ground defense before he can find rhythm in his striking game.
- Stay patient on his featherweight debut and avoid the reckless exchanges that contributed to his recent losses.
Kurtis Campbell
- Look for the early finish that earned his UFC contract and refuse to let Peek's experience dictate the fight's tempo.
- Use crisp, accurate combinations to keep the fight at striking range and avoid dangerous grappling entries.
- Prove the Silva stoppage was an anomaly by showing composure under pressure throughout all three rounds.
