Bojkovic knocks out Eskiev in 49 seconds to win FNC lightweight title

Marko Bojkovic is the new FNC lightweight champion. At FNC 34 in Skopje on 24 October, the Serbian knocked out Lom-Ali Eskiev with a punch after 49 seconds of the first round, according to the result listed by Sherdog. It was the first FNC event held in North Macedonia, at the Boris Trajkovski Arena.

How Bojkovic knocked out Eskiev

The main event was scheduled for five rounds, but it needed less than a minute. Sherdog lists the finish as a KO by punch at 0:49 of round 1, with Aleksandar Zoric as the referee. Eskiev, from Germany, was making the first defence of the belt he won in February.

Pugna MMA's data shows Bojkovic now stands at 12-2, with six of his wins coming by knockout or TKO. He went into the fight ranked number two in the FNC lightweight division, after wins over Ivan Vulchyn in February (TKO, round 3) and Piotr Niedzielski in May (decision). His last loss was a decision to Donovan Desmae in November 2025.

What it means for the lightweight division

Eskiev took the title on 7 February 2026 with a first-round knockout of Francisco Barrio, whom he had lost to by decision for the same belt in September 2025. His reign lasted one fight. His database record now reads 24-8 with one no contest, and 13 of his 24 wins have come by KO or TKO.

For Bojkovic, the win takes him from number two in the rankings to the top of the division. No next fight has been announced by FNC in the sources we checked, so whether Eskiev gets an immediate rematch is not known.

According to Sherdog, the other results at FNC 34 were:

• Tato Primera beat Alen Amedovski by TKO in round 1 (4:40) at a 180 lb catchweight.
• Khanbulat Irisbiev beat Antonio Budimir by unanimous decision at welterweight.
• Nemanja Nikolic stopped Jivko Stoimenov with punches and elbows in round 2 (0:48) at middleweight.
• Gheorghe Balaur beat Anastasios Chatzigeorgiadis by TKO in round 1 (2:32) at lightweight.
• Nikola Durdev submitted Dino Starcevic with a rear-naked choke in round 1 (4:23).
• Elias Erber submitted Bondo Kikadze with a rear-naked choke in round 1 (4:24).
• Luka Lainovic knocked out Marko Trajanovski with a body kick in round 1 (0:55) at light heavyweight.
• Martin Horsch and Nikita Zelinskyi fought to a split draw at bantamweight.

The card also included an Ultimate Boxing bout, in which Miljan Rovcanin knocked out Toshe Cvetkov in 26 seconds, according to the result sent to our desk. Sherdog's MMA listing does not include that bout.
