Kevin Cordero VS Luciano Pereira

Uruguayan bantamweight Luciano 'El Toro' Pereira delivered one of the most violent knockouts of the night in his promotional debut. Despite giving up height and reach to Kevin Cordero, Pereira came out incredibly aggressive, marching forward and chopping at Cordero with heavy calf kicks. Cordero couldn't handle the pressure, and as he backed up, Pereira stepped into the pocket and unleashed a monstrous overhand right that face-planted the Spaniard. Pereira followed up with four massive power strikes on the ground before the referee could finally pull him off, scoring a highlight-reel KO at 02:10 of Round 1.

A thrilling bantamweight collision featuring Spanish hometown favorite Kevin Cordero taking on the highly touted 15-1 Luciano Pereira. Cordero will look to harness the electric energy of the Madrid crowd to match Pereira's overwhelming pressure in this pivotal test for both men's divisional aspirations.
