Cara a cara
Resumen del resultado
The opening bout of the evening featured a featherweight matchup between Pennsylvania's own Ethan Goss and Canadian submission specialist Frederik Dupras. Goss, known for his regional grappling success, immediately sought to bring the fight to the mat. However, this played perfectly into Dupras's game plan. As Goss shot in for a takedown against the cage, Dupras expertly sprawled and locked up a lightning-fast guillotine choke. Dupras used his leverage to jump to guard, wrapping his legs around Goss's waist and squeezing with immense pressure. Goss tried desperately to defend and pop his head out, but the choke was sunk in far too deep. The referee checked Goss and realized he had lost consciousness, resulting in a technical submission victory for Dupras just 2:46 into the very first round.
