Resumen del resultado
Wang Cong defeated Tracy Cortez by unanimous decision in a women's flyweight bout at UFC 329 in Las Vegas on July 11, 2026, with all three judges scoring the contest 29-27. Wang controlled the action across all three rounds with effective striking and persistent leg kicks to Cortez's lead leg. A point was deducted from Wang for an illegal knee to a downed Cortez, but her clear lead on all three scorecards absorbed the penalty without altering the outcome. The win moves Wang to 10-1, extending her winning streak to four.
Resumen del combate
Tracy Cortez, a ranked Mexican-American grappler riding a decision win over Viviane Araujo, faces Wang Cong, the Chinese kickboxing and Sanda world champion who announced herself with the second-fastest finish in UFC women flyweight history. Cortez thrives on high-volume wrestling and control, while Wang Cong carries elite striking credentials that could make this a sharp contrast of styles between the cage floor and the stand-up.
