Javid Basharat VS Gianni Vazquez

Javid Basharat survived a serious scare to defeat short-notice newcomer Gianni Vazquez via unanimous decision. Basharat looked dominant early, dropping Vazquez with a counter right hand in the first round. However, the momentum shifted wildly in the second when Vazquez hurt Basharat with a booming right hand of his own, forcing 'The Snow Leopard' to shoot for a desperation takedown to survive the round. In the third, a composed Basharat relied on his superior grappling to ground Vazquez and control him from top position, neutralizing the newcomer's offense to secure the 29-28 victory.
