Resumen del resultado
Sean Woodson defeated Jack Jenkins by split decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28) in a featherweight bout at UFC Fight Night: Nurmagomedov vs. Song in Shanghai on August 29, 2026. Woodson established control with his long punching early, dropping Jenkins twice in the first round to take a commanding lead on the cards. Jenkins adjusted in the second, shifting to grappling and grinding out top control to pull at least one judge back to his side. The third round was contested on the feet and went the distance, with Woodson's first-round damage proving decisive for two of the three judges. The win marks a successful return for the Contender Series product, who had been sidelined since April.

- Maximize the massive 78-inch reach by fighting behind a stiff, repetitive jab to keep Jenkins at bay.
- Actively check low kicks immediately to protect his long, exposed legs from Jenkins' trademark calf kicks.
- Pivot and angle out seamlessly to avoid getting trapped against the fence by Jenkins' forward marching.
Jack Jenkins
- Chop down Woodson's lead leg early and often to immobilize the taller fighter and take away his leverage.
- Slip inside Woodson's long jab to throw devastating hooks to the body and head in the pocket.
- Use clinch entries to force the taller man to carry his weight, draining Woodson's stamina against the cage.
