Résumé du résultat
Heavyweight veteran Linton 'The Swarm' Vassell put on an absolutely dominant showing against short-notice replacement José Augusto Azevedo. Vassell wanted to remind the division of his striking and did so by tagging Augusto on the feet early on before utilizing his elite grappling. In the second round, Vassell secured top position and unleashed a suffocating and heavy barrage of ground-and-pound strikes. Augusto had no answer for the onslaught from the top, prompting the referee to step in and stop the bout via TKO at 02:12 of Round 2. Vassell immediately took the mic to call out Denis Goltsov for a rematch.
