Résumé du résultat
Joselyne Edwards secured a stunning upset victory over third-ranked Norma Dumont in a highly tactical bantamweight clash. Edwards applied early pressure, but Dumont used her grappling to stifle the offense in a tightly contested opening round. In the second round, Dumont found her rhythm, catching an aggressive Edwards with sharp counters and combinations as Edwards threw single shots. Likely believing she was comfortably up two rounds, Dumont opted to stay on her back foot in the third, allowing Edwards to confidently press forward, control the pace, and land the better optics. That strategic misstep by Dumont proved disastrous on the scorecards, rewarding Edwards with a hard-fought unanimous decision win.
