Viviane Araújo VS Shanna Young

Two UFC veterans clashed in the women's flyweight division, with Viviane Araújo delivering a masterclass performance to defeat Shanna Young. Araújo looked incredibly sharp from the opening bell, demonstrating a clear speed and power advantage. She controlled the striking range, tagging Young with crisp jabs and powerful right hands. Whenever Young tried to initiate a clinch or close the distance, Araújo easily evaded or reversed the position, utilizing her well-rounded skill set to dominate all areas of the fight. The Brazilian veteran mixed her striking with timely grappling control to completely shut down Young's offense. It was a one-sided affair, with Araújo sweeping the judges' scorecards 30-27 across the board for a dominant unanimous decision win.

Araújo is a BJJ‑focused fighter who recently lost a decision to T. Cortez at UFC 317 (2025) but has a win over K. Silva in 2024, showing strong grappling. Young, a mixed‑style fighter, earned a unanimous decision win over K. Lehner in 2025 and has experience in both striking and grappling.
