Resumo do resultado
Ivan Erslan defeated George Tokkos by unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) in a light heavyweight bout at UFC Fight Night: Allen vs. Costa on May 16, 2026. Erslan, a kickboxing convert, kept submission specialist Tokkos at bay on the feet across all three rounds, stuffing repeated takedown attempts and responding with clubbing counters in the pocket. The first round was competitive, but Tokkos slowed noticeably in the second, his takedown entries becoming increasingly telegraphed as Erslan found his range and punished each shot. Erslan maintained his control through the third round to sweep all three judges' cards and move to 2-3 inside the Octagon.
Visão geral da luta
George Tokkos brings a rare combination of elite size and Daniel Gracie BJJ credentials to a light heavyweight matchup where Ivan Erslan arrives desperate for his first UFC victory after three consecutive losses — all against opponents who found ways around his dangerous striking. Tokkos's 76-inch reach and submission hunting make him a natural fit to neutralize Erslan, but ten career knockouts mean danger exists until the final bell.
