Francis Marshall VS Lucas Brennan

Francis Marshall spoiled the short-notice UFC debut of undefeated Bellator prospect Lucas Brennan with a suffocating performance. Brennan quickly realized he needed to rely on his grappling, threatening off his back with constant submission attempts, including a very deep heel hook in the first round. Marshall, however, stayed completely composed, cracking Brennan with heavy leg kicks and stiff right hands whenever the fight was on the feet. Once the fight hit the mat, Marshall used crushing shoulder pressure and flawless submission defense to completely neutralize Brennan's guard, dominating the top position to comfortably win a unanimous decision.
