Tale of the Tape
Shrnutí výsledku
The Moroccan crowd erupted as undefeated bantamweight Reda Abdellaoui put on a grappling clinic against submission specialist Salim Mhamdi. Abdellaoui came out with relentless pressure, swarming Mhamdi early and completely overwhelming him in the grappling transitions. After dragging Mhamdi to the mat, Abdellaoui expertly navigated to the back, locking in his hooks and securing a tight rear-naked choke. Mhamdi was left with no choice but to tap out just 2:11 into the opening round. The flawless submission victory pushed Abdellaoui's record to 5-0 on his home soil.
