Francesco Nuzzi stopped Xiao Long by TKO (punches) at 1:00 of round one in their bantamweight bout at UFC Fight Night: Nurmagomedov vs. Song in Shanghai on August 29, 2026. Xiao Long opened aggressively with a flying knee to Nuzzi's chest before an accidental eye poke by Nuzzi prompted a brief restart. Off the restart, Nuzzi grabbed a collar tie and pumped left hands until Long collapsed to the canvas and referee Herb Dean waved it off. Long protested the stoppage, but the result stood. The finish marked Nuzzi's 12th professional win and the biggest of his career.
