New Champion: Carlos Ulberg Stops Prochazka
Ulberg entered the UFC 327 main event as the challenger. He left as the title holder. Jiri Prochazka tore his ACL in the opening minutes and fought on through it, but Ulberg landed a clean left hook that put him on the canvas and followed up to stop the fight. Max Holloway's Pound-for-Pound Fall
Holloway drops five spots in this update, from #10 to #15. The cause was his March 7 loss to Charles Oliveira at UFC 326. That fight was a BMF title bout, and it was not close. Oliveira took Holloway down early and repeatedly — five takedowns across five rounds, more than twenty minutes of control time total. All three judges scored it 50-45 for Oliveira. Holloway struggled to generate offense throughout and had no reliable answer for the wrestling.
The UFC held this ranking adjustment until the UFC 327 cycle. That is a common pattern — the promotion often batches several updates together following a major card. With Holloway down five, Arman Tsarukyan moved up two spots on that same list without fighting. Heavyweight: Josh Hokit Arrives at #5
The heavyweight division absorbed the biggest structural change in this cycle. Josh Hokit walked into UFC 327 unranked and walked out as the #5 heavyweight in the world after beating Curtis Blaydes by unanimous decision. Commentators and fighters on social media called it one of the best heavyweight bouts in recent memory.
