Danielle Misteli VS Ivana Petrović

The remarkable story of 49-year-old late bloomer Danielle 'The Housewife' Misteli met a harsh reality check against elite UFC veteran and former Ares FC champion Ivana Petrović. Misteli entered the cage with immense crowd support and a three-fight finish streak, but Petrović's vast edge in technical striking and high-level experience was immediately apparent. Petrović calmly managed the distance, stifling Misteli's aggressive, brawling style with crisp, accurate counter-strikes. Midway through the first round, Petrović connected with a devastating sequence of strikes that badly hurt Misteli and dropped her to the mat. Petrović quickly followed up with punishing ground strikes, securing the TKO finish at 3:42 of Round 1.

Danielle Misteli gained widespread attention with her OKTAGON debut in early 2025 — a viral submission win at age 48 that made her one of the sport's most compelling late-bloomer stories — and now faces Ivana Petrović, a Croatian bantamweight with seven career victories and UFC experience who represents a significant competitive step up. Whether Misteli's grappling credentials extend to this level of opponent is the central question of the matchup.
