Fight Overview
Headlining the card is a fascinating lightweight battle between undefeated English standout George 'Saint' Staines and American finishing threat Loai Abushaar. Staines has built a pristine 10-0 record through relentless cage control, supreme cardio, and decision victories across European promotions like Oktagon and Cage Warriors. Abushaar, conversely, is a lethal opportunist with a heavy submission game who aims to spoil the highly touted European prospect's path to a UFC contract.
Keys to Victory
George Staines
- Employ relentless wrestling pressure and cage control to dictate the pace of the fight.
- Maintain sharp fundamentals on the outside, avoiding wild brawls where Abushaar thrives.
- Test Abushaar's takedown defense early to establish top position and steady ground-and-pound.
Loai Abushaar
- Capitalize on grappling exchanges by hunting for front chokes, particularly the D'arce and guillotine.
- Push a high, chaotic striking pace to disrupt Staines' methodical rhythm.
- Force scrambles rather than accepting bottom position if taken down by the Englishman.
