Fight Overview
Booked at a 69kg catchweight, undefeated Hungarian prospect Akos Denes (5-0) takes a massive step up in competition against seasoned Polish veteran Paweł 'The Polish Eagle' Polityło. Polityło is a familiar face on the European circuit with significant KSW and FNC experience, known for his suffocating wrestling style. This is a classic test to see if the highly-touted Denes is ready for the upper echelons of the regional scene.
Keys to Victory
Akos Denes
- Use his 5'11 height and 71-inch reach to sharply strike from a distance, preventing the Polish wrestler from entering the clinch
- Stay highly mobile on the outside, using lateral footwork to constantly frustrate Polityło's aggressive forward pressure
- Punish Polityło's inevitable takedown attempts with well-timed knees and sharp uppercuts
Pawel Politylo
- Implement his trademark grinding style, pressing the undefeated Hungarian against the fence to severely limit his striking
- Secure repeated takedowns to test Denes's defensive grappling and rapidly drain his gas tank
- Utilize his vast KSW experience to overwhelm the young 5-0 prospect with veteran pacing and heavy top control
