Robin Moosmann def. Luka Milidragovic Submission · R1 1:06
Fight Overview
Croatian lightweight Luka Milidragović looks for a vital rebound performance as he squares off against Germany's Robin Moosmann. Milidragović is coming off a tough first-round submission loss and needs to get back on track in front of a friendly crowd. He boasts a massive physical frame for the division, standing 6'0" with a 74-inch reach, presenting a literal tall task for the 5'7" Moosmann, who relies on his gritty grappling to offset size discrepancies.
Keys to Victory
Luka Milidragovic
- Exploit massive physical advantages—a 6'0 height and 74-inch reach—by staying on the outside and fighting tall
- Establish a stabbing jab and front kicks early to keep Moosmann from blitzing into grappling range
- Keep the fight strictly on the feet to erase the memory of his recent submission loss and avoid Moosmann's ground game entirely
Robin Moosmann
- Bite down on the mouthpiece and aggressively close the distance to entirely nullify the massive 7-inch reach disadvantage
- Force the fight against the cage to initiate grueling grappling exchanges and rapidly drain the much larger Croatian's energy
- Relentlessly hunt for submissions, exploiting any potential psychological hesitations Milidragović might harbor following his recent tap-out loss
