Fight Overview
The highly anticipated FNC 30 main event sees local hero Martin Batur returning to the Krešimir Ćosić Hall in Zadar. Following a traumatic injury sustained at FNC 21 in the exact same arena, Batur bounced back with a massive knockout win over Michał Kita and now looks to achieve redemption in front of his hometown crowd. Standing in his way is dangerous Montenegrin prospect Milenko 'Kico' Stamatović, an undefeated heavyweight (6-0) known for delivering rapid, devastating finishes. This clash represents a classic battle of seasoned veteran guile against explosive, youthful momentum.
Keys to Victory
Martin Batur
- Utilize his massive experience advantage (10-5) to stay composed and avoid early, reckless brawls against the explosive Stamatović
- Implement a heavy grappling attack and clinch work to drain the undefeated Montenegrin and test his gas tank in the later rounds
- Capitalize on the energy of the hometown Zadar crowd to overwhelm his opponent with high-pressure combinations in the pocket
Milenko Stamatovic
- Rely on early knockout power to silence the hostile Croatian crowd and establish psychological dominance in the opening exchanges
- Maintain distance and utilize fast footwork to avoid Batur's clinch work and heavy forward pressure
- Target Batur's lower body with heavy leg kicks to limit his mobility and set up explosive combinations up high
