Keys to Victory
Ivan Erslan
- Maintain disciplined fundamentals: Keep a tight guard and use a stiff jab to disrupt Fabjan's unorthodox, chaotic kickboxing rhythm.
- Exploit the grappling advantage: Utilize timely takedowns to exploit Fabjan's kickboxing base, scoring heavily with ground-and-pound while avoiding striking trades.
- Avoid emotional brawling: Refuse to get drawn into the wild, crowd-pleasing exchanges Fabjan thrives in, maintaining distance and fighting a cerebral bout.
Miran Fabjan
- Drag the fight into chaos: Use unorthodox feints and constant stance switches to lure Erslan into wild exchanges where knockout power becomes the deciding factor.
- Anti-grappling cage defense: Maintain strong underhooks and balance against the fence to force the fight back to striking range if Erslan attempts to grapple.
- Target the body to lower the guard: Invest in heavy body kicks early to force Erslan's hands down, opening up head strikes later in the fight.
