Fight Overview

A phenomenal lightweight addition to the card featuring former FNC title challenger Pawel Politylo and Dana White's Contender Series veteran Emrah Sonmez. With Politylo's veteran grit and Sonmez's finishing instincts (12 stoppage wins), this matchup guarantees fireworks and serves as a potential title eliminator for the 155-pound division.

Keys to Victory

Pawel Politylo

  1. Rely on incredible durability and relentless forward pressure to drown Sonmez.
  2. Mix grinding wrestling with dirty boxing to keep Sonmez off balance.
  3. Survive the early explosive onslaught to take over and dominate in the later rounds.

Emrah Sonmez

  1. Start aggressively and look for early, explosive finishes to capitalize on finishing instincts.
  2. Keep the fight strictly in the center of the cage to maximize striking advantages.
  3. Use sharp counter-wrestling and punishing knees to deter Politylo's takedown entries.
