Daniel Makin VS Christian Draxler

Austrian submission specialist Christian Draxler put on a tactical grappling clinic against the famously resilient German matador, Daniel Makin. From the opening bell, Draxler repeatedly closed the distance and utilized chain wrestling to drag Makin to the canvas. Makin displayed incredible defensive awareness, surviving several deep submission attempts from the dangerous Austrian. While Makin managed to scramble to his feet on a few occasions and land solid strikes, Draxler was relentless in his pursuit of the takedown. Over the course of three rounds, Draxler’s suffocating top control and constant submission threats completely neutralized Makin's offense, earning Draxler a decisive unanimous decision win.

Daniel Makin faces Christian Draxler, an OKTAGON welterweight roster regular from Austria known for a submission-heavy winning record and a grappling-first approach that has defined his career. Draxler's clear blueprint — take the fight to the mat and activate his submission game — means Makin must find a way to neutralize the ground game and keep the contest competitive on his own preferred terms.
