Result Summary
Krzysztof Jotko def. Kerim Engizek Decision (unanimous) · R5 5:00
Fight Overview
Kerim Engizek puts his OKTAGON middleweight title on the line against the man who ended his 11-year unbeaten streak, as Krzysztof Jotko returns to defend the legacy of his shocking first-round submission win at Oktagon 82 in January. Engizek, a powerful knockout artist out of Dusseldorf with a 24-5 record, seeks to reclaim his crown, while the former UFC veteran Jotko carries a 29-6 mark and the psychological edge of being the only man to stop Engizek in over a decade.
Keys to Victory
Krzysztof Jotko
- Impose wrestling-based cage control early to neutralize Engizek striking power.
- Exploit takedown entries off feinted strikes, where the first fight was decided.
- Stay composed in exchanges and look for the same opportunistic grappling that secured the choke.
Kerim Engizek
- Use lateral footwork and jab to manage distance and prevent Jotko grappling entries.
- Land heavy power shots early to shift momentum and discourage clinch attempts.
- If taken down, immediately scramble to feet before Jotko can set submission attempts.
