Fight Overview
Czech lightweight Jakub Dohnal squares off against Slovak counterpart Vojto Barborík in a Central European territorial matchup that reflects the Czech-Slovak MMA rivalry OKTAGON events in Brno consistently deliver. With Dohnal fighting in his home country and the Brno crowd behind him, Barborík faces the standard challenge of performing as a visitor in a venue where the atmosphere is designed to energize the home fighter at every opportunity.
Keys to Victory
Jakub Dohnal
- Use home crowd support and the Czech venue energy to push an aggressive, confident pace that immediately puts Barborík on the back foot.
- Leverage any stylistic or physical advantages he holds and fight with the freedom that comes from performing in a familiar, supportive environment.
- Commit to a finishing mindset — a stoppage in front of a Brno crowd is the statement performance this card position demands.
Vojto Barborík
- Execute a disciplined, technical game plan that ignores the crowd noise and focuses on imposing his own style rather than reacting to Dohnal's home energy.
- Establish early control and show that Czech-venue advantage can be neutralized by a fighter who arrives with a clear, well-prepared approach.
- Use the underdog-visitor role as motivation and prove that Slovak MMA talent thrives in cross-border OKTAGON matchups.
