Result Summary

Elisandra Ferreira def. Juliet Ukah Submission (armbar) · R2 1:39

Fight Overview

Undefeated PFL Africa pioneer Juliet Ukah faces her toughest test yet as Brazilian dual-champion Elisandra Ferreira makes her PFL debut at strawweight, a weight class above where she has built her Invicta FC credentials. The stylistic matchup pits Ferreira's BJJ-heavy grinding game against Ukah's kick-heavy striking and stout takedown defense, with Ukah holding notable physical advantages in height and reach. The result will either confirm Ukah as a legitimate contender beyond the African regional circuit or announce Ferreira as a serious strawweight force within the PFL ecosystem.

Keys to Victory

Elisandra Ferreira

  1. Close distance early and force clinch contact to neutralize Ukah's kicking range and reach advantage.
  2. Shoot for takedowns in combination with punches to keep Ukah's takedown defense from resetting cleanly.
  3. Use top position and ground control to drain Ukah's energy across all three rounds rather than hunting a finish.

Juliet Ukah

  1. Maintain range with consistent leg kicks and body kicks to prevent Ferreira from entering the clinch.
  2. Sprawl aggressively on every shot and immediately punish Ferreira's head position after stuffing takedowns.
  3. Control center of the cage and keep the fight standing, using counters to punish Ferreira's forward pressure.
