Styve Ngono def. Muzan Richard Decision (unanimous) · R3 5:00
Fight Overview
Richard Muzaan, the Lagos hometown hero and 2023 African Games gold medalist, brings a 100% KO/TKO finish rate and explosive kickboxing power against Cameroonian grappler Styve Ngono, who arrives on a five-fight win streak fresh off a dominant PFL debut decision. Staged on Nigerian soil for the first time in PFL Africa history, this light heavyweight showcase bout is a direct stylistic collision between Muzaan's one-punch danger on the feet and Ngono's patient wrestling-and-grind formula.
Keys to Victory
Muzan Richard
- Muzaan must land early, fight-changing power shots before Ngono can close distance and secure takedowns.
- He needs to maintain range with sharp low kicks and jabs, preventing Ngono from clinching or body-locking him against the fence.
- If taken down, Muzaan must scramble back to his feet immediately and avoid extended ground exchanges where Ngono's elbows and top control are most dangerous.
Styve Ngono
- Ngono must initiate wrestling early in each round before Muzaan's power shots establish psychological control of the standup.
- He should target level changes off fakes to bait overhand counters, then shoot underneath Muzaan's preferred knockout sequence.
- Once on top, Ngono needs to pin Muzaan against the fence and punish with ground-and-pound to drain energy and discourage stand-up attempts.
