Fight Overview
Egypt's Ahmed El Sisy (7-2, 1 NC) faces Norway-based Harda 'Hi-Tech' Karim (5-2) in a lightweight tournament quarterfinal, with both fighters carrying genuine finishing power on their records. El Sisy is a well-rounded lightweight who upset the previous MENA champion in a striking-heavy performance, while Karim's aggressive TKO stoppages at UAE Warriors and MEFC mark him as a dangerous pressure fighter capable of ending fights at any moment.
Keys to Victory
Ahmed El Sisy
- Use his striking volume and output to outwork Karim through three rounds and deny him clean finishing opportunities.
- Move off the fence consistently and resist Karim's pressure to keep the fight in open space.
- Stick to his disciplined game plan and avoid reckless exchanges that could expose him to Karim's knockout power.
Harda Karim
- Close distance with head movement and land his aggressive combinations to back El Sisy against the cage.
- Target the body early and often to break El Sisy's rhythm and create openings for head strikes.
- Press relentlessly in the second half of each round when his pressure style tends to pay off.
