Jena Bishop def. Ariane Lipski da Silva Submission (armbar) · R1 4:08
Fight Overview
Brazilian striker Ariane Lipski, fresh off her PFL debut win and ranked seventh in the division, collides with Jena Bishop, a BJJ black belt who has gone the distance with PFL world champion Liz Carmouche. The fight pits one of flyweight's most dangerous Muay Thai weapons against a submission specialist who finishes better than half her opponents on the mat, making every clinch and takedown attempt a decisive moment.
Keys to Victory
Ariane Lipski da Silva
- Keep the fight standing by landing sharp teeps and oblique kicks to prevent Bishop's takedown entries.
- Punish Bishop with clinch knees early to deter repeated grappling attempts and drain her urgency.
- Use lateral movement to avoid the cage, denying Bishop the wall for leverage on takedowns and control.
Jena Bishop
- Shoot for takedowns immediately after absorbing strikes, before Lipski can reset her Muay Thai range.
- Chain submission attempts in top position rather than stalling, forcing Lipski to burn energy defending.
- Time a double-leg on Lipski's aggressive forward step, where her weight transfer is most exploitable.
