Manoel Sousa dropped Bolaji Oki early in the fight, but Oki displayed great resilience, battling back through Sousa's pressure to outwork him with high activity and volume over the next round and a half. As the fight wore on and entered the final frame, it was still highly competitive. However, in the waning moments of the third round, Sousa's immense power proved to be the ultimate difference.
