Fight Overview

Veteran Douglas Silva de Andrade faces prospect Javier Reyes. 'D-Silva' is 40 years old but remains a ball of muscle with explosive power. Reyes (22-4) is a finisher. This is the classic 'Old Lion vs. Young Lion'. Can Silva's power hold up against the youth and speed of Reyes?

Keys to Victory

Douglas Silva de Andrade

  1. Explosive counters: Wait for Reyes to overcommit and land the big hook.

Javier Reyes

  1. Speed advantage: Use youth and speed to dart in and out.
  2. Body attack: Drain the veteran's gas tank with body kicks.
  3. High volume: Force Silva to work constantly; don't let him rest.
