Greg Foster defeated Jason Asher by decision in a lightweight bout at Dana White's Contender Series (Season 10, Week 10) on October 13, 2026. Foster outworked the previously unbeaten Asher over three full rounds at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas to earn the judges' nod, improving his professional record to 9-1. The result hands Asher the first loss of his career; the 26-year-old had entered at 5-0, most recently finishing Cameron Graves by TKO in round one. Foster, at 34, leveraged his experience advantage throughout a controlled three-round performance against the younger prospect.
Pregled borbe
Jason Asher and Greg Foster meet in a lightweight DWCS Week 10 clash where both men bring unfinished potential to the APEX cage in the hunt for a UFC contract. Lightweight is one of the most competitive rosters in the UFC, meaning Dana White holds the scoring bar high — only the most decisive performances earn the nod in a division stacked with ranked talent from the top 15 to the bottom of the card.
Ključevi pobjede
Jason Asher
- Set the pace from round 1 and refuse to let Foster establish a comfortable rhythm, forcing him to respond rather than execute.
- Mix wrestling with striking to present two problems simultaneously and create the kind of well-rounded dominance that earns contracts.
- Find the finish — at lightweight on DWCS, a unanimous decision is a coin flip for the contract; a stoppage is not.
Greg Foster
- Counter Asher's pressure with sharp, clean striking from the outside and punish him for over-committing on offense.
- Use any grappling advantages to establish control time and ground-and-pound to build a finish on the canvas.
- Win the first round decisively to establish the emotional and competitive momentum that carries the APEX crowd and the judges.
