Pregled borbe
FNC Middleweight Champion Đani Barbir returns home to defend his throne. Barbir proved his ice-cold composure by marching into hostile enemy territory at FNC 31 in Belgrade and securing a spectacular armbar submission over Aleksandar Ilić. Now, he faces a highly experienced Polish veteran in Piotr Strus, who views this title shot as the crowning achievement of a long, grueling career. It is a battle of the champion's prime versus the challenger's veteran grit.
Ključevi pobjede
Đani Barbir
- Ice-cold composure: Maintain the calm, cerebral approach that won him the title in Belgrade, systematically dismantling the veteran challenger.
- Exploit grappling scrambles: Capitalize on any chaotic ground exchanges to lock in slick submissions, utilizing his elite defensive jiu-jitsu.
- Relentless cage control: Keep Strus on the back foot with constant forward pressure, trapping him against the fence to unload heavy combinations.
Piotr Strus
- Veteran fight management: Rely on vast experience to pace himself properly for a five-round championship fight, stealing rounds with late flurries.
- Stuff the takedowns and dirty box: Keep the fight in close quarters on the feet, using strong underhooks to land short elbows and uppercuts in the clinch.
- Disrupt rhythm with the jab: Avoid rushing into Barbir's range; instead, use a disciplined, piston-like jab to disrupt the champion's forward pressure.
