In a fiercely contested North African featherweight derby, Algeria's Yanis Ghemmouri silenced a hostile Casablanca crowd by putting on an absolute mixed martial arts masterclass against Morocco's elite grappler Taha Bendaoud. Despite the deafening roars supporting Bendaoud, Ghemmouri remained perfectly composed, effectively neutralizing Bendaoud's grappling attempts. Ghemmouri dictated the range on the feet, picking apart the hometown hero with superior striking and ring craft over fifteen minutes. The tactical clinic earned Ghemmouri a shutout unanimous decision victory, sweeping the judges' scorecards (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).
Pregled borbe
Morocco's own Taha 'Atlas Lion' Bendaoud (5-0) takes the main card spotlight at the Mohammed V Sports Complex in front of a home crowd, facing Yanis Ghemmouri — a featherweight with UFC experience — in a non-tournament bout that gives the local hero a showcase stage. Bendaoud has finished three of his five wins by submission and arrives unbeaten; Ghemmouri's UFC pedigree makes this a meaningful credibility test for the young Moroccan.

Taha Bendaoud
- Use the home-crowd energy to stay aggressive and look for the submission entry that has defined his finishing record.
- Keep the fight at close range where his grappling is a weapon and prevent Ghemmouri from using his experience on the outside.
- Protect against the counter right hand while closing distance — Ghemmouri's UFC background means his striking is polished.
Yanis Ghemmouri
- Exploit his superior experience and UFC-level striking to frustrate Bendaoud and score clean from range.
- Defend the takedown early and remove Bendaoud's confidence in his submission game before it becomes a pattern.
- Use his veteran composure to avoid getting swept up in the crowd atmosphere and impose a calm, disciplined game plan.
