Making it a perfect night for the van Steenis brothers, Gino van Steenis delivered a spectacular walk-off knockout in the lightweight division. Mark Ewen tried to establish his striking range early, but van Steenis read his movements perfectly. Less than midway through the opening round, van Steenis found a massive opening and starched Ewen with a blisteringly fast and perfectly placed right hand. Ewen was out cold before he hit the canvas, securing a highlight-reel KO for van Steenis at 02:17 of Round 1.
