King Green (formerly Bobby Green) played the role of spoiler, knocking out local favorite Daniel Zellhuber in the dying seconds of the second round. The fight was a tactical striking battle early on, with Zellhuber using his length to land kicks while Green taunted and looked to counter. In the second round, Green began to find his range, slipping Zellhuber's long punches and firing back with crisp boxing. With just over a minute left in the round, Green wobbled Zellhuber with a check hook. Smelling blood, Green poured on the pressure, eventually landing a crushing left straight followed by a right hook that sent Zellhuber crashing to the canvas. Green followed up with ground-and-pound to force the stoppage at 4:55, securing his first win streak since 2023.
Pregled borbe
A dream matchup for striking purists. The veteran King (Bobby) Green faces the young Mexican standout Daniel Zellhuber. Zellhuber has a massive height (185cm) and reach advantage, but Green's unique 'Philly Shell' style and shoulder rolling defense makes him a puzzle. Zellhuber needs this win to prove he can handle veteran savvy, while Green looks to silence the Mexico City crowd.
