Joanderson Brito defeated Jordan Leavitt by guillotine choke at 4:19 of the first round in a featherweight bout at UFC Fight Night: Muhammad vs. Bonfim on June 6, 2026. The two spent most of the opening round working in the clinch along the fence, with limited striking exchange from either fighter. Late in the frame, Leavitt shot for a takedown from distance, but the overextension allowed Brito to latch onto the fight-ending choke as Leavitt's head dipped low. The finish was Brito's second consecutive submission victory and second guillotine choke finish in the UFC, improving his record to 7 wins in his last 10 Octagon appearances.

Two Dana White Contender Series graduates collide at featherweight, with Leavitt riding a two-fight winning streak that includes a submission finish and a decision win in his 145-pound debut, while Brito looks to string back-to-back wins after snapping a two-fight skid against Isaac Thomson. This contest was originally slated for UFC Fight Night: Allen vs. Costa before being shuffled to this card, adding an extra layer of intrigue as both men eye a meaningful step up in the featherweight rankings.
Ključevi pobjede
Jordan Leavitt
- Leavitt must pressure relentlessly and work for early clinch entries to set up his submission-heavy grappling game.
- He needs to avoid prolonged exchanges on the feet where Brito's Brazilian striking pedigree creates knockout danger.
- Securing takedowns in the first round is critical to establish pace and drain Brito's energy for late submission attempts.
Joanderson Brito
- Brito must keep the fight standing and use his length and footwork to maintain distance from Leavitt's wrestling entries.
- He needs to land sharp counter combinations when Leavitt shoots, punishing the grappling attempts with accurate power shots.
- Staying off the fence and circling laterally will deny Leavitt the cage-assisted takedown control that fuels his submission game.
