PFL Sioux Falls: Storley vs. Zendeli brought twelve fights to the Sanford Pentagon on May 2, and the results drove the latest ballot in the Professional Fighters League's media panel rankings. PFL launched its independent rankings system in January 2026, with journalists and industry experts voting through Combat Registry after each event. The May 5 update reflects what happened Saturday night in South Dakota.
The card delivered a clean welterweight main event, a heavyweight upset, two light heavyweight wins, and sharp finishes in the women's flyweight and featherweight prelims.

Welterweight: Storley Makes Another Statement
Champion Ramazan Kuramagomedov sat out Sioux Falls. The division's narrative was shaped anyway by Logan Storley, who made Florim Zendeli look like a practice partner for five rounds.
All three judges scored it 30-25 — a maximum sweep built on consistent takedowns, back control, and pace that never let Zendeli settle. Zendeli was docked two points for cage grabs, a detail that illustrates how badly he needed help that never came. Storley is now 8-0 at Sanford Pentagon and improved to 19-4 overall. He sits at #4 in the welterweight division, behind Kuramagomedov (champion), Shamil Musaev (#1), Magomed Umalatov (#2), and Thad Jean (#3).
The argument for Storley getting a title shot before the rest of that group keeps getting easier to make. Zendeli entered Sioux Falls undefeated inside PFL and drops to #6 after his first loss under the banner, ending a six-fight win streak.
Heavyweight: Bilostenniy TKOs a Former Champion
The biggest result of the night came at heavyweight. Sergey Bilostenniy, ranked sixth, stopped Renan Ferreira — ranked second and a two-time former PFL heavyweight champion — by TKO at 1:56 of round three.
Ferreira had been considered one of the most realistic threats to champion Vadim Nemkov. Bilostenniy, patient through the first two rounds, found his opening in the third and finished with ground-and-pound. It is the kind of win that restructures a division.
The heavyweight picture now has Nemkov as champion, Oleg Popov at #1, and a contender group in flux below. Ferreira's credentials keep him relevant despite the loss. Bilostenniy's position at #6 will not reflect this win for long.
Light Heavyweight: Two Wins, No Title Pressure Yet
Simeon Powell (ranked #6) and Rasul Magomedov (ranked #7) both won in Sioux Falls. Powell stopped Emiliano Sordi at 3:05 of round three. Magomedov took a unanimous decision over Rafael Xavier in the prelims.
Light heavyweight sits with Corey Anderson as champion, Antônio Carlos Júnior at #1, and Dovletdzhan Yagshimuradov at #2. Powell and Magomedov are building cases but have ground to cover before entering the title conversation.
Women's Flyweight: Santos Back in Finishing Form
Taila Santos is ranked third in women's flyweight, and she used just over two minutes of the first round to finish Qihui Yan by TKO. Santos has the finishing rate that keeps her threatening regardless of who sits above her. Dakota Ditcheva (#1) and Liz Carmouche (#2) hold the spots ahead, but Santos is the most dangerous finisher in the division's top three.
Lightweight and Bantamweight
Gadzhi Rabadanov, ranked second at lightweight, competed at 160 pounds in a catchweight against Aleksandr Chizov and took a unanimous decision. The win keeps him active in a division anchored by unbeaten champion Usman Nurmagomedov (21-0).
Magomed Magomedov, ranked seventh at bantamweight, won a 137-pound catchweight split decision over Leandro Higo. An activity win at non-title weight — his standing at 135 is unchanged.
P4P: Nurmagomedov Holds the Top Spot
Usman Nurmagomedov leads the PFL men's pound-for-pound rankings with a 21-0 record. He did not compete at Sioux Falls. Corey Anderson sits at #2 and Vadim Nemkov at #3. Bilostenniy's heavyweight finish over a former champion is exactly the kind of result the voters notice in future ballots, but it does not move the top of the list today.
