Will Fleury def. Kasim Aras KO · R2 1:29
Fight Overview
Ireland's Will Fleury, OKTAGON's double champion and pound-for-pound king, defends his heavyweight title in his first Berlin appearance against German-based challenger Kasim Aras, a former LFL and EMC champion who has gone unbeaten inside OKTAGON since signing. Fleury most recently demolished UFC veteran Martin Buday in under two minutes, while Aras earned his shot by publicly calling out the champion and backing it up with back-to-back wins inside the promotion. With OKTAGON making its Uber Arena debut and a homegrown crowd backing Aras, Fleury faces the toughest test of his reign.
Keys to Victory
Will Fleury
- Close the distance early and use his wrestling pedigree to neutralize Aras's power shots before they build momentum.
- Time his explosive knockout power on the counter, where he has finished opponents of all levels inside one round.
- Control the cage center to prevent Aras from using the fence for offensive wrestling and dirty-boxing exchanges.
Kasim Aras
- Use his accomplished wrestler credentials to drag Fleury into deep rounds and grind the champion's gas tank down.
- Establish a physical jab-and-clinch game from the opening bell to avoid Fleury's one-punch knockout range.
- Leverage the Berlin crowd energy to stay aggressive and force Fleury into exchanges that suit a bigger, fresher challenger.
